Christian Studies Applicants:

All of the following must be received by CBC before an application will be reviewed for admission:

  • Application for Admission Form
  • Non-refundable Application Fee
  • 2 Passport-type Photos
  • Autobiographical Sketch
  • One Confidential Personal Reference from a mature Christian
  • One Confidential Personal Reference from a Christian leader in your church
  • All Official Transcripts
  • TOEFL Test Score (if applicable)
  • Proof of Financial Support (if applicable)

Christian Ministry Applicants:

All of the following must be received by CBC before an application will be reviewed for admission:

  • Application for Admission Form
  • Non-refundable Application Fee

  • Autobiographical Sketch
  • Two Confidential Personal References
  • One Confidential Pastoral Reference
  • Church Endorsement Form
  • All Official Transcripts
  • TOEFL Test Score (if applicable)

Confidential References

Complete the waiver statement on the Confidential Personal and Pastoral Reference forms and forwardthem to the referees. For the Bachelor of Christian Studies degree, one of the personal references is to be completed by a mature Christian (not a family member) who has known you well for more than a year and the other should be a Christian leader (elder, youth leader) in your church.

For the Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree the personal reference is to be completed by a mature Christian (not a family member) who has known you well for more than a year and your pastor should complete the Pastoral reference. Supply each referee with a stamped envelope marked “Confidential” and addressed to the Registrar’s Office.

Transcripts

All official transcripts from high school, GED and any post-secondary institutions attended must be sent directly to the Registrar's Office.

TOEFL

All applicants (regardless of citizenship) whose first language is not English must submit the result of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). For more information contact TOEFL at www.ets.org/toefl. A TOEFL statement is also provided on our International Students page. Transcripts with your official results must be sent directly to the Admission Office.

Please note: The application will be processed after all materials have been received. Once the application file is complete, the Admissions Committee will review it and notify you of their decision in writing. Applicants will be updated periodically on the status of their file. Please check with the Admissions office to find out what documents are still outstanding.
