2L8311 - Biblical Hebrew I - 3 hours

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of biblical Hebrew, including vocabulary, pronunciation, basic grammar and syntax.
2B8214 Biblical Backgrounds – 2 hours
Instructor: Dr. Steve Parsons
This course is a study of the geography, history, and archaeology of the biblical world intended to provide a cultural, geographical, and chronological framework for further study of both the Old and New Testaments.
2T8223 - Christian Apologetics in a Post-Christian Era – 2 hours
Instructor: Dr. Jimmy Cobb
This course introduces students to the study and practice of apologetics in contemporary settings. The history of Christian apologetics as well as more recent approaches and styles will be addressed. Key apologetic issues will be addressed within the context of biblical revelation and current cultural and philosophical perspectives. Students will evaluate their own apologetic perspective in light of contemporary demands and concerns.
